During that same series, he also contributed significantly with the ball, taking ten wickets across seven matches, demonstrating his utility as a genuine all-rounder.

While his red-ball contributions are well-documented, Potgieter is no stranger to the intensity of T20 cricket. With 97 matches of experience, he has amassed 1,329 runs and secured 49 wickets. His explosive potential was perhaps best showcased in the SA20, where he delivered a brilliant 5-for-10 performance for MI Cape Town against Sunrisers Eastern Cape.
