Bangladesh vs New Zealand 3rd T20I Weather Report in Dhaka

Rain and cooler weather have recently been felt in different parts of the country. The second T20I in Chattogram was abandoned because of heavy rain. Now the big question is – will rain also affect the third T20I in Dhaka?

There was rain in several areas of Dhaka on the morning of May 1 as well. Continuous showers even caused waterlogging in many places. However, the rain eased later in the day. There is also a chance of rain in Dhaka on May 2, but it appears to be lower. So, for now, the chances of the match being washed out seem smaller.

Weather Forecast

According to weather forecast website AccuWeather, Dhaka has a 90% chance of rain on May 2. There is also a 54% chance of thunderstorms. Around one and a half hours of heavy rainfall is expected as well. The temperature is likely to stay between 25°C and 32°C. Later in the afternoon, the rain chance may drop to around 25%. The match is scheduled to begin at 2 PM.

Humidity will remain high, as usual. In the afternoon, it could be around 77%. The sky is also expected to stay cloudy for more than 90% of the time.

Impact on the Match

Even if the third T20I is washed out, Bangladesh will still win the series 1-0. But that kind of victory would not feel fully satisfying. Winning by playing the match would be much more enjoyable. That is what both the players and fans are hoping for.
