When the spinners come in, he blows them away with the form that he is in. But he could not do that today. His strike rate of 111-115 ultimately mattered a lot.”

Kartik further highlighted the disparity in scoring rates among the PBKS lineup, noting that while some players were striking at 180, 260, or even 280, the middle-order stagnation acted as a drag on the total. He estimated that 15-20 extra runs could have been squeezed out of the middle overs had Iyer played with more intent.
